Oral contrast media in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the abdomen and pelvis are applied for various purpose ; better detection of lesions, more accurate assessment of the extent of pathological processes, and improved differential diagnosis
of
lesions, For the purpose of the survey of the new oral
contrast medias, authors obtained T1 values of the variable of the values of the variable material and compare with them. Legalon and 25% diluted solution of the Gelfos are higher signal intensities than other materials. This article will give a
survey
of the basis for and aims of contrast application in abdominal and pelvic MRI and present the reesults of clinical studies.
